Woodward smiled as he looked around himself seeing a small forest of trees he was thinning out. This was New Player Island after all. He had to keep this well furnished. He was back to work when he heard the crackle of the entry portal springing to life

Purity stepped through the portal and looked around, blinking her eyes against the bright sunlight, adjusting.
So, this was New Player island?
She was nervous to say the least, but she ventured on, towards some trees. "Hello?"

"Hey there!" Woodward responded with a cheery smile as he paused from where he'd been chopping trees down
"You must be new here right? I thought I'd heard the new player portal come to life"

"Its been set up so its not as challenging as mainland, my jobs to make sure it stays that way" he smiled again "and offer tools and advice to new people so they're equipped with at least some wooden items before they go to main world - I like it here. We don't have creepers"
